There is something about Port Harcourt that totally captures the hearts of Nigerians. On May 28th, MTN kicked off the 1st of a series aimed at motivating and cultivating networking amongst young professionals tagged MTN LINK NITE.
The MTN Link Nite is geared towards creating a viable platform for business professionals to increase their networth. The night’s activities kicked off with MC/Anchor Basorge Tariah Jnr dishing out rib-cracking jokes whilst ensuring that every guest mingled and interacted with someone new at the event.

One of the high points of the event was the interactive session with guests which was led by guest speaker – Engr. Mr. Alek Musa, fmr DMD TOTAL Nigeria. Other speakers included ten- over- ten crooner Naeto C, who gave insights about the challenges and opportunities in the Music Industry, Osaze Ebueku – Segment Mgr. MTN; and Kester Osahenye – RMM South South”.
Loads of exciting games led to guest winning fantastic prizes such as Nokia E7, DSTV dish with subscription and other great giveaways.
Naeto C (the only MC with an M.Sc) performed his latest hit which got the guest dancing.
The climax was the promise kept by MTN which was to air the UEFA Champions League Finals live. During the match, guests who were able to predict accurately the turn out of the match went away with life enriching prizes.
Overall, the PH edition of MTN link nite was filled with great ambience, exciting activities, enriching conversations and top notch entertainment. Business professionals from all sectors gathered to rub minds, share ideas and interact. The Link Nite will be an unforgettable experience for the guests as truly their lives were enriched.
